Google Home can now handle up to three queries at a time

The Google Home just got a little better at multitasking.

So, for instance, you could say "OK Google, turn on the bedroom lights and raise the thermostat temperature and play songs by The Stooges", and Google Assistant (which provided the brains behind the devices) then gets to work to change the lighting, temperature and line up some tunes.

Since last November, we have been able to issue two queries to our Google Home speakers at once and they would understand them. However, the tweet has been deleted, possibly indicating the feature is not quite ready and may take some time before the official re-announcement.

Late previous year, Google rolled out a handy feature that allowed Google Assistant, by way of its Google Home smart speakers, to handle two commands at once. But, as per a TechCrunch report, Google has informed that it is planning to support more languages, but there's nothing more to announce at the moment. Support for three commands and Multiple Actions are both live on my regular Home and Home Mini, but if they're not working for you yet, be sure to keep trying over the next couple days. Each command must also be the sort of thing Google Assistant can respond to on its own without further input or clarification. Now, you can ask about the weather, check your calendar, and turn on the kitchen lights while only saying "Ok, Google" once.

According to Google, the feature is now rolling out in English-speaking countries, including the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
