Square Enix E3 2018

Unfortunately for Square Enix, the slew of trailers thrown in felt underwhelming since majority have already been seen before- many of them were shown at Microsoft's conference on Sunday. Babylon's Fall is also new. The title will be made available for the PlayStation 4 and Steam for PC when it launches.

If that wasn't enough, fans will be pleased to see that Kingdom Hearts 3 also has a collector's edition of the game for both PS4 and Xbox One. The teaser was a odd mixture of live action and in-game graphics, but the central gimmick seems to be that the main character is deaf.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider opened the show with some gameplay footage in this latest Lara Croft adventure going through some stealthy kills. This time around we got to see how the English translation is progressing, and so far we're impressed.

Square Enix also announced, for whatever reason, that they're re-releasing the remastered re-release of Kingdom Hearts 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue all together in one package with Kingdom Hearts III.

Just Cause 4 received the EDM treatment in a trailer that showcased its violently volatile world and weather, as well as a few snippets of gameplay.

The game looks to take place in NY and will focus on a young man who could be some sort of vigilante. Visually it's very good, capturing the likenesses of the characters very well indeed. Monster Hunter: World and Final Fantasy XIV will be pairing up in Summer 2018 as the Rathalos appears in FFXIV.

While Square Enix's showcase was ultimately disappointing, it's all their own doing.
