Battlefield 5's creators are not backing down from the female characters they added in the latest installment of the game.

While DICE has received criticism in the past for not including female avatars or characters in the series, something Call of Duty has been doing for years, many feel that they are simply pandering now. If I wanna play a game with katanas and steampunk sally there's other options where these characters make sense. As detailed earlier in the first reveal trailer, the game will be set in a "re-imagined" WWII scenario and although the details are scarce, it was nice to see at least a bit of what appears to be the gameplay footage.

This level of customisation has also been applied to the weapons and vehicles as well and as you play through the game you'll be able to change the way they look by upgrading their proficiency or just simply giving them a new paint job. The game will be offering signature multiplayer modes, single-player War Stories and the cooperative Combined Arms. Our vision with Battlefield V is to let players explore new and untold sides of the conflict that shaped the modern world. The game takes you to rejuvenate the time of World War II where you will be directly in the war zone and have to fight your way. With BFV you also get the chance to play as who you want.

After the worldwide official reveal of Battlefield 5 yesterday, many questions have been answered and we have made a little recap so you won't miss a thing. The currency usage of Battlefield 5 and the prices of various items may be disclosed before the sale. Players with EA and Origin Access accounts as well as those who will purchase the game's deluxe edition can play "Battlefield V" at an earlier schedule on October 11 and October 16, respectively. That's important to us, it's always been that way for Battlefield - we live and die by our rock-paper-scissors guns. All players will have access to the maps and modes of the game as Tides of War takes players through WWII with themed experiences, unlocking themed rewards.

Battlefield V will be available worldwide October 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This applies to just about everything replenish-able in Battlefield V; gone are the days of passively resupplying whilst lying within touching distance of an ammo crate.
