G.O.O.D Music rapper Pusha-T today released his much awaited Daytona album and seemingly left a message on one of the tracks for Drake.

But West had a change of heart and allegedly paid $85,000 out of his own pocket to secure the rights to a 2006 photo of Whitney Houston's bathroom, according to Hip-Hop-N-More.

Kanye West and Pusha T have collaborated to create an album which has earned rave reviews, but it is the cover art of the record is sparking conversation.

On Thursday, a day before its release, Kim Kardashian's husband - who produced the new LP - shared the image on Twitter.

Shortly after he announced details of new album DAYTONA, due this Friday, Pusha T stopped by Power 105.1's Angie Martinez for an in-depth interview.

In 2016 I had the pleasure of an early morning phone call with Pusha T to discuss his forthcoming album "King Push" for a Clash cover story. "I shouldn't even be givin" you none of my time / "Cause you older than the ni**a you runnin" behind, " he says, again referencing Kanye. No caller ID. 'Hey, yeah, I think we should change the artwork. "[But] I absolutely did not want to pay for it". "I like this other artwork."' he recalled Kanye saying.

"It's just a picture that to license it worldwide is 85 grand", Pusha T said.

To hear Pusha tell it, he had an album in the bag, relatively recently, when Kanye decided they'd go to Wyoming and make something together from scratch, with Kanye essentially handling all the production himself.

"And as for Q, man I changed his life a couple times", Drake hit back.

Drake also claims he's done things for Kanye "I thought he never would need".

Elliott was actually in the hotel room of the Beverly Hilton in 2012 when Houston died, and is adamant that "Our family doesn't want to revisit the death in this way", pleading "let her legacy live". "I'm not really too, too, too entrenched in the art world like that". "We've spent a year and a half digging for samples and writing", he tweeted of the record.
