According to Entertainment Weekly, the first eight episodes will drop on May 29 as previously planned.

Season 5 will consist of 16 episodes, so it's a little less than the 22-episode order they had while on FOX or the recently remixed fourth season that was re-released on May 4.

In the trailer for the upcoming fourth season of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) has a new job at tech company Giztoob, where she has to deal with insecure men making sexual harassment claims against her and men anxious about their declining social dominance.

We're just a couple weeks away until the return of the Bluth family on Arrested Development's fifth season, but fans won't get the entire story right away.

The first part of the final season - six episodes - will hit Netflix on 30 May. No word has been given as to why the series is being split in two, especially as there was no indication of such a move with the release of the trailer and premiere date, but presumably they aren't done finalizing the whole season due to the busy schedules of its large cast.

The glass-half-full angle on this is, Netflix must be feeling pretty damn confident about the quality of these new episodes if it's willing to split the season up like this.

Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Portia de Rossi, Tony Hale, Jessica Walter, Alia Shawkat, Michael Cera, David Cross and Jeffrey Tambor are all returning for season 5 of Arrested Development.
