Those excited to be a part of Ms. Marvel include Pakistani-British actor Riz Ahmed who recently took to Twitter in an attempt to offer his expertise and write the movie's screenplay. Then she decides to transform into his idol - Ms. marvel.

Obviously Ms. Marvel's introduction to the MCU still lies somewhere in the future, and possibly the somewhat distant future at that.

According to recent reports, Ms Marvel is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, following the success of the comics.

But Riz doesn't just want it all for himself; the actor, rapper and activist wants to co-write the script with Mindy Kaling and Kumail Nanjiani. Khan is Marvel's first Muslim character to headline her own comic book and made her first appearance in Captain Marvel #14 (August 2013) before going on to star in the solo series Ms Marvel in February 2014.

Khan begins to go by Miss Marvel after Carol Danvers her hero, dons the title of Captain Marvel.

"Captain Marvel's shooting right now with Brie Larson", he informed.

"We have plans for that once we've introduced Captain Marvel to the world", he added.

Ahmed's suggestion stems from the fact that he is British-Pakistani, while Kaling has an Indian heritage and Nanjiani is Pakistani-American. Along with new Spider-Man Miles Morales, Kamala Khan is one of the most celebrated new characters to hit superhero comics in the last decade, so people were excited.

Marvel Studios' CEO Kevin Feige spoke about the possibility of the Muslim superhero coming to the big screen earlier this month with BBC.
