Designer Hampus Olsson created these wallpapers for the OnePlus 6 to complement its new display. Soon after the launch, Zack from YouTube channel JerryRigEverything released a video to reveal the durability of the OnePlus 6 by making it undergo scratch, burn and bend tests. All major smartphones are put through the scratch, bend, and burn tests on this channel to see how they hold up.

The OnePlus 6 comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer on both rear and front panels, which has been claimed to survive 1.6-meter shoulder-height drops onto hard and rough surfaces up to 80 percent of the times. This happens to be the same score as the one that the OnePlus 5T achieved. The screen scratches at level 6 on the Mohs scale, which is exactly as expected.

On the back, OnePlus has again used the Gorilla Glass 5 panel that appears as tough as the frontal panel. The dual rear cameras, fingerprint scanner and the logo of the company are well-protected from scratches as they placed under the layer of Gorilla Glass 5. "I believe this is in part due to the plastic lining between the glass and the metal frame but either way this new OnePlus flagship passes my durability test and is definitely daily driver material", the YouTuber said in the video. The painful screeching noises of the razor on metal indicate that the entire frame (top, bottom, sides) is metal, as are the power and volume buttons and alert slider. The screen was then exposed to an open flame, which it survived for roughly 20 seconds, following which the pixels beneath the exposed area stopped responding permanently.
