"This year is my best year as a professional footballer..."

His all-round game, from his astonishing work ethic to his subtle genius on the ball, has seen him mature into one of Europe's best players, with 27 goals proof that he can also finish.

Salah fired 44 goals and collected 16 assists and has scooped the Golden Boot, Premier League Player of the Season, the Football Writers' Association's Footballer of the Year, the Professional Football Association's Players' Player of the Year, the Arab Player of the Year and the African Footballer of the Year award.

The Brazilian joined Liverpool from Hoffenheim in 2015, and has played a crucial part in Jurgen Klopp's side this season as they secured a top-four place in the Premier League and reached the Champions League final in Kiev.

Earlier in the season, after Firmino dropped a masterclass away at Southampton, Henry revealed he would have loved to have played with the 26-year old -which is a compliment of the highest order considering this is a guy who scored 175 goals in the Premier League and played alongside Lionel Messi, Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pires and Zinedine Zidane.

Firmino though, whose work-rate has been impressive, has improved markedly on last season's 12-goal haul, but he says he wants more.

"I am still a little bit "restless", as I always want more, to grow and grow even further", Firmino told uefa.com, ahead of the Champions League final against Real Madrid on May 25.

"If we're fortunate enough to be able to win it, it will be a very emotional moment for me and the whole team".

"I am pretty pleased and very happy with my performance and the entire team's performance. And I hope to keep that going into the final".

"Of course we dreamed big, I dream big and our whole team had that dream".

"We know there is an equally well-qualified team on the other side".

"We know about Real Madrid".

"This is a final and a one-off game, a one-off moment. The most complete in the league".
