Liverpool Receive Fitness Boost From Crocked Star Ahead of Champions League Final

Cape Town - Roberto Firmino is not yet satisfied with his contribution at Liverpool despite producing his best season since joining the club.

The 26-year-old Brazil global has netted 27 goals for Liverpool in all competitions so far this campaign and was recently rewarded with a new long-term contract.

Sergio Ramos hopes to show that Real Madrid really are the "kings of Europe" when taking on Liverpool in the Champions League final in 10 days' time.

"(It would be) a unique moment (to win the final). "They have a good team, a good coach and we are expected it to be a very hard game but we'll be prepared". He also has a good tally of goals and assists to his name.

"Although I am a little bit annoyed, because (in general) I always want more and I am never satisfied", Firmino added.

As well as being a boost for Liverpool, it will surely be a boost for the German worldwide if he is involved in the Champions League final, after suffering the disappointment of being left out of Germany's provisional 27-man World Cup squad - especially considering that goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who has missed most of the Bundesliga season with injury, was nevertheless included in Joachim Löw's squad.

"I am pretty pleased and very happy with my performance and the entire team's performance and I hope to keep that going into the final".
