Harry Styles is executive producing a television sitcom based on his life

American network CBS is to air the comedy Happy Together, about a married couple whose lives are disrupted when a young pop star moves in, from the autumn.

Happy Together "follows a teen heartthrob Cooper (Felix), whose character is based off of Harry Styles, and his zany adventures with his new housemates, two 30-somethings with nothing to lose", Stereogum reports.

The premise is based on actual events in Harry's life, when the One Direction singer lived in a producer's attic not long after catapulting to stardom on The X-Factor.

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine previous year, TV producer Winston told how Styles originally said he would be moving into his home for two weeks because a house he liked nearby needed work. During this period, Harry lived with his friend Ben Winston, who opened up to Rolling Stone a year ago about what it was like to house Harry just as he was becoming a superstar.

He continued: "Those 20 months were when they went from being on a reality show, X Factor, to being the biggest-selling artists in the world. So I think he really, really does care", said Mallard.

'That period of time, he was living with us in the most mundane suburban situation. Even when we went out for a meal, it's such a sweet family neighborhood, no one dreamed it was actually him.

"Happy Together" was announced as part of CBS's 2018-2019 primetime line-up reveal on Wednesday (May 16th). He has also recently ventured into the world of acting, with his appearance in Christopher Nolan's latest epic Dunkirk.
