Frontier Airlines is celebrating 5 years at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. It will run seasonally, although it's not immediately clear what months that will include. Eight of the nine destinations were previously unserved with direct flights from San Antonio.

The flights will depart Omaha's Eppley Airfield at 10 a.m. on those days and be on Airbus A319 aircraft seating 150 passengers.

The new San Antonio route comes on the heels of the airline's new service to Austin, Texas, which launched in April.

The new flights make Frontier Airlines the largest carrier at the airport in terms of destinations served.

Sacramento airport officials have been pushing to land a low-priced carrier for nonstop flights to Europe as well.

The low-priced airline now originates direct flights from Cleveland Hopkins to Austin, Tex.; Cancun, Mexico; Denver; Fort Myers, Fla.; Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, Orlando, Fla.; Portland, Ore.; Phoenix, Raleigh/Durham, N.C; and Seattle.
