Eni Aluko has announced that she will be leaving Chelsea Ladies "with a heavy heart" following the final game of the Women's Super League season this weekend.

The victory meant Chelsea added the league silverware to the Women's FA Cup they won against Arsenal at Wembley on May 5.

It was announced earlier this week that Aluko, who has made 102 appearances for England, will join ITV's punditry team for this summer's men's World Cup in Russian Federation.

Chelsea clinched the latter on Tuesday with a 2-0 win at Bristol City Women, with Aluko appearing as a late substitute.

The 31-year-old is yet to reveal which club she will be joining this summer, but held talks with Paris St-Germain and one other overseas team earlier this year. 2015 was a dream come true to do it again I'm beyond words.

'To my teammates who I adore, the club and fans THANKYOU'. Aluko since her involvement in a discrimination case against former England Women boss Mark Sampson a year ago has not played for England since 2016.
