If you've ever visited Nintendo's E3 booth, it's usually the most packed of the entire show. Attendees will have two experiences to choose from: they can either reserve a ticket to play against people casually "for fun", or play "for glory" in a competitive elimination match. Nintendo's video presentation will stream on Tuesday, June 12 at 12 p.m. EDT before the convention center opens, so fans will have a clearer idea of what will be playable in Nintendo's booth. Nintendo said no on-site registration will be available, so attendees need to sign up ahead of time.

Fans looking to attend E3 2018 to play one of Nintendo's most anticipated Switch games will have to register ahead of the show.

Tickets will be in the form of QR Code patterns that can be stored on a smartphone or printed out.

Nintendo have announced that, once the game is officially unveiled at June's E3 event, the mysterious Nintendo Switch Smash Bros. title will be available to play at various events across Japan.

All of Nintendo's other games at E3 will be available to demo on a first-come, first-served basis.

Super Smash Bros. for Switch is coming, but unfortunately at this point we still don't know very much about it.

Attendees who bring their Switch systems to the show and are spotted playing them may be selected by roaming members of the Nintendo team to receive an exclusive, collectible Switch pin (while supplies last). People should be sure to bring their systems along for an opportunity to receive this one-of-a-kind swag, as well as for impromptu gaming opportunities with others.
