Ubisoft announced today in a fresh press release that The Crew 2 beta test will go live on all platforms (PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) on May 31st; it will end on June 4th.

These are the best racing games on PC. Preloads will be available starting May 29. It's worth checking out The Crew 2 livestream on May 30 if you don't manage to get in, as Ubisoft has teased that they may have beta keys to give away.

During the closed beta, players will experience the first level of the progression system as they compete in races across all first four disciplines - Street Race, Rally Raid, Powerboat and Aerobatics - against the backdrop of a fully redesigned United States of America, via land, water and air. All the in-game photo and replay modes will be available, as will cooperative play. Finally, all closed beta participants will unlock an exclusive in-game leather jacket for use in the final game. If you've got a proper racing setup, you'll be glad to know the beta's even supporting an array of wheel options out of the gate, which you can see in full at Ubisoft's site.
