The Spanish International was a Bianconeri regular from 2014 to 2016, however Real Madrid activated a buyback clause in the summer of 2016.

The Spanish worldwide was then sold to Chelsea, but it has been reported in recent days that he could return to Turin, after struggling to settle in England.

Chelsea value Morata at around £50m and Juventus would rather take the Spaniard on loan for a season before committing to such an outlay.

The Blues haven't qualified for the Champions League, and it's thought that could help the Bianconeri in their pursuit of their former player.

While Chelsea are prepared to sell him, they want to recoup a large part of the club record fee they paid to sign Morata and it could take him out of Dortmund's price range.

It will be hard to convince the English club to do a deal, but the player's determination to return could prove crucial.

"However, the Blues could face competition from record-breakers Manchester City who are valued at 3/1 to add the Argentina worldwide to their trophy-laden squad, while Manchester United follow just behind at 4/1 to become the 30-year-old's destination this summer".

Federico Marchetti of Lazio and Genoa's Mattia Perin are the top targets, with Gianluigi Buffon expected to announce his retirement this week.
