Robert Durst of 'The Jinx' faces hearing on murder charges

Killer real estate scion Robert Durst will be in a Los Angeles courtroom Monday to find out whether he'll stand trial for the murder of his longtime friend 18 years ago.

Seventy five, Durst, entered la Superior Court dressed up in a grey and tan lawsuit for event to assess.

He was arrested for Berman's murder in March 2015 - a day after the airing of the finale of HBO's "The Jinx", in which Durst is caught muttering to himself on a hot mic, "What the hell did I do?"

Prosecutors say Durst fatally shot a writer, Berman and the daughter of the organized crime figure, in la in 2000 for everything she knew regarding his wife's death.

Berman, 55, was found dead at her supplement which few months later it had been disclosed that police in nyc had reopened an investigation in to the 1982 disappearance and presumed slaying of Kathleen Durst, his wife who was simply a medical student in nyc after she disappeared.

Durst hasn't guilty to first-degree murder charges stemming from rsquo & Berman;s death. "Killed them all, of course". He also has denied having anything to do with the disappearance of his wife, whose body was never found.

The miniseries investigated Durst's ties to Berman's slaying, his wife's unsolved disappearance and his 2003 acquittal in the slaying and dismemberment of a Texas neighbour. The documentary has provided grist for prosecutors even as defense attorneys have sought to keep the footage out of court and discredit the production as biased against their client.

Back in 2001, Durst, who lived at the time concealed as a woman, was arrested on suspicion of murdering and dismembering his elderly neighbor.

Durst admitted during trial that he killed and carved up Black, but a jury acquitted him of homicide after he argued it was an accidental shooting in self-defence.
