It's been two months since Fergie was criticized over her rendition of the National Anthem and now Rachel Platten is the latest to face backlash online. The "Fight Song" singer was performing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Chicago Red Stars vs Utah Royals National Women's League Soccer game on Saturday, April 14, when she messed up the first line of the song.

Platten, 36, then quickly apologized and started over, but had to stop again at the same part of the anthem and ask for someone to give her the next line. It looks like she remembered the lyrics to those songs, which is good!

The visiting team from Chicago went on to win the game 1-0.

"I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn't strike the intended tone", Fergie said in a statement in February. "I love this country and honestly tried my best", she continued to say at the time. She followed that up with another hit, "Stand By You", in 2016.
