Manchester City and Manchester United will feature in the International Champions Cup (ICC) as part of their pre-season USA tours, the Premier League clubs announced on Tuesday.

Manchester City play Borussia Dortmund in Chicago to kick off the competition just five days after the World Cup final on July 20, with Sevilla and Benfica in action on the same day.

The opener for the ICC will be a repeat of the Europa League semi-final between Arsenal and Atletico Madrid, with the match expected to offer the side that loses the Europa League encounter the chance to exact revenge. United have also arranged friendlies against Club America and San Jose Earthquakes during their pre-season tour.

"The facilities, venues and fixtures will give the manager and team the ideal preparation for the 2018-19 campaign, whilst also giving our fans in the United States the chance to watch their team live".

United's other games are against Milan at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles on July 25 and Real Madrid in Miami - home of David Beckham's new Major League Soccer franchise - on July 31.

Each of the Premier League sides will play three fixtures, which will form part of their pre-season preparations.

On the same day, Manchester United will face Liverpool at Ann Arbor, Michigan, where a US-record 109,318 fans watched United play Real Madrid in 2014.

Tottenham conclude their United States tour against AC Milan on July 31 in Minneapolis. The Gunners will then take on PSG on July 28 before the French champions pit their wits against Atletico on 30 July.
