After what feels like an eternity in development, Kingdom Hearts III seems like it might finally be ready to release in 2018, and as a result we're starting to get a look at gameplay for some of the game's new kingdoms. The highly anticipated title is rumored to arrive this November.

Over the weekend, over a thousand Kingdom Hearts fans gathered in Los Angeles for the first Dandelion Meeting, an official community gathering for Kingdom Hearts Union x [Cross].

Kingdom Hearts III will allow us to enjoy a great diversity of retro mini-games since Sora will have a console from where we will have access to titles like The Barnyard Battle, The Karnival Kid, Giantland and Musical Farmer.

The trailer shows Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy looking down at what appears to be some sort of gaming device and try their hands at some classic black-and-white old school Disney-themed 1980s LCD games. There, fans were hoping to see something new from Kingdom Hearts 3, and they weren't disappointed.

It remains to be seen whether we'll be able to activate them any time we want (maybe after a specific event in the story), or if they'll be linked to some determined locations in the game in the style of Yakuza.
