On Sunday night, John Oliver brought the kind of broad-ranging answer to Cardi's question-at one point addressing her directly-with the kind of thoroughness, unflinching perspective, and hilarity for which Last Week Tonight has become known.

The show also bought a pair of shorts and a robe from the same film, as well as a hood Crowe wore in Robin Hood, a vest from Les Miserables, and more.

Oliver said Washington's chair cost more.

Oliver discussed the threat to the last Blockbuster store on the show before revealing his purchases.

"If we do not hear from you in the next two days, I know a transportation museum in Scranton, Pennsylvania that could make room for a new exhibit", Oliver said.

First, an update on the once-ubiquitous Blockbuster chain: there are still four operating Blockbuster stores in the United States. He did this as a prelude to an offer he hopes Blockbuster management can't refuse - Russel Crowe's jockstrap from the movie Cindarella Man, free of charge.

Oliver suggested that the Blockbuster store could put the items on display as a "fun, movie-themed way" to draw customers and stay in business. He wasn't sure how to get hold of Oliver or the show to say yes. All the manager there needs to do to claim this stuff is to call within 48 hours. The Blockbuster in tiny North Pole, Alaska just closed its doors this month and another in Anchorage closed in February.
