Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon had a night to remember on Sunday evening, following his clean sweep of individual honours at the EFL awards.

The other five nominees for this year's award are Ederson, Harry Kane, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling.

The 17-year-old left-back-turned-winger has scored 14 goals and notched six assists for the Cottagers so far this season, with the club very much in contention for an automatic promotion place.

In addition to being named in the team of the season and the club-developed XI, he was named as the Championship's player of the season and apprentice of the year and the Football League's young player of the season.

Picking up both Young Player of the Season as well as Player of the Season, Sessegnon's position within the Team of the Season was never going to be disputed. The 24-year-old (who will be 25 in July) has been clinical in front of goal this season, scoring 25 goals for Spurs, even if he has tenuous claims to at least one of them.

City's goalkeeper Ederson also made the list after an impressive debut campaign that will end with a League Cup and nearly certainly a Premier League trophy too.

Raheem Sterling has also made a significant contribution to Man City's season with the England global scoring 16 goals in the Premier League.
