Mitchell suffered a foot injury in the first half of Game 1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday when Corey Brewer stepped on his left foot. After about a minute he was subbed off again as he was visibly in pain as he ran back on defense after burying a jumper. Mitchell was visibly confused on the bench and, with the help of some teammates, lobbied to re-enter the game.

"I feel fine. I just stubbed my toe, nothing major". When asked about his limp at the time that caused him to come out of the game, the Louisville product said that he was "just being a baby", according to Sam Gannon of KOKH Fox 25.

Playing in his first postseason game, Mitchell finished with 27 points on 11-of-22 shooting, plus 10 rebounds. However, it was clear that he was still a bit shaken up and head coach Quin Snyder chose to pull him from the game once again.

The Utah Jazz are going to have Donovan Mitchell for Game 2 after all. "I ain't never sit out playoff games".
