Florida woman, on fire, crashes vehicle into Sheriff's Office substation

The vehicle, a red Toyota Camry, went fully into the building - only its rear was visible from outside the district office.

Ben Mendez was painting outside the building and ran in to see if he could help, ABC 10 reported.

A Broward County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman said it was "quite troubling" the woman had intentionally crashed her auto into the building, according to WPLG-TV. He said that when he got inside to help, the woman was already on fire.

Mendez pulled her out of the vehicle and extinguished the fire as fast as possible, according to ABC 10. After breaking up with her boyfriend, the Florida woman attempted to blow up the Pembroke Sheriff's Substation using a auto filled with accelerants.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office declared that a woman was rushed to the hospital with third-degree burns after she was involved in a peculiar accident. The woman didnt struggle with authorities, according to ABC 10.

It is not yet clear whether the woman, whose name is being withheld from the public crashed into the sheriff's office intentionally, or her motives to do so.
