Police in Ontario release video of 'vicious assault' on man with autism

Police in Mississauga, Ont., have released a video of three suspects wanted in connection with a "vicious assault" on a man with autism.

"He was sitting at the base of the steps putting on roller blades and three individuals came down the steps and went directly to him and began to assault him".

Officers responded to the scene of Fairwind Dr. and Bristol Rd. around 1:30 a.m., where they found the vehicle "engulfed in flames", police say.

Approximately 20 minutes later, a 54 year-old male victim was approached by the suspect on Burnhamthorpe Road West. Police allege the suspect took his property and assaulted him before fleeing the area.

The three suspects are believed to be South Asian who all appear to be about five-foot-ten. He was wearing a black t-shirt with an Air Jordan logo and white lettering with black track trousers and black shoes.

One has a thin build, a short dark beard and straight black hair, police say.

The third suspect is described as having a medium build, was unshaven and was wearing a black hoodie with a Nike logo on the front and white lettering along the sleeves, with black track trousers and black shoes. He is wearing a black jacket with a grey horizontal stripe across the chest and a grey vertical stripe along the hood, black track trousers and black shoes.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
