Reigning American League rookie of the year Aaron Judge will earn $622,300 U.S. in the major leagues as part of his one-year contract with the New York Yankees.

Aaron Judge belts 52 homers last season.

The reigning American League Rookie of the Year and AL MVP runner-up batted.272 and drove in 114 runs one season ago to help the Yankees to the AL Championship Series appearance.

NY uses a scale based on service time for its players not eligible for arbitration.

Judge, 25, is not eligible for salary arbitration until after the 2019 season.

Yankees pitcher Luis Severino will make $604,975 after he went 14-6 with a 2.98 earned-run average.

Of course, he's not going to Triple-A, but it's Yankees (and everyone else's) policy to have split deals for players of his service time. Montgomery ($228,413), Bird ($272,500) and Austin ($230,814) would also see decreased salaries in the same scenario.
