Late last night, a trailer for a collection of Sega games leaked online via the website SegaNerds.

The announce appeared via a quickly-deleted Twitter post - which was nonetheless spotted by fans. We've seen compilations of Mega Drive games before, including a disc of old games for the PlayStation 3 and a portable version for the PSP.

Notably, the announcement statement mentions a May 29 release date and omits its presence on the Nintendo Switch. If the below cover art is legit, the collection will include more than fifty games as well as a bonus double sided poster. While the first list of playable Genesis classics has not been released yet, a number of games are included in a short trailer. A full list of games that were on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection can be found here.

Hopefully it won't be too long until SEGA officially unveil the collection (for the second time).

As well as the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Streets of Rage games, Golden Axe, Revenge of Shinobi and the usual SEGA suspects, we're also hoping for Alex Kidd, Super Hang On, Shadow Dancer, Outrun and all of the other games included in the previous Mega Drive Collection.

There is no official word yet as to when we can expect to play, but we will definitely keep you in the know.
