While honoring the winners of the Metropolitan Police's seventh annual Met Excellence Awards alongside Prince Harry at a reception at Kensington Palace on Tuesday, the Duke of Cambridge informed attendees that his son is "obsessed" with the police force, The Daily Mail reports.

He may be third-in-line to the British throne, but all four-year-old Prince George can think about is police cars.

According to PEOPLE, William laughed it off saying, "He is obsessed, actually, by the police....cars, toys, everything".

'We are recruiting, actually so if George and Charlotte are keen?' the police officer joked to the Duke of Cambridge.

During their candid conversation with the princes, PC Jayne Richardson, Laasid's supervisor, told Prince William that they are now recruiting members to join the police force.

While speaking with Express UK, Richardson also detailed the conversation she had with Prince William. One victor included PC Philip Stone, who was awarded Police Officer of the Year for his work with the Grenfell fire and the Manchester Arena bombing.

During Monday's Commonwealth Day Service, Prince William and Kate Middleton revealed that Princess Charlotte loves dancing.
