Hitting out at the BJP at a press conference at the CM's residence, Sisodia said it was unfortunate that the party's representatives did not attend the meeting called to find a solution to the sealing issue. "We should present our points in favour of traders before the committee", Sisodia said.

On a day city traders observed a bandh, AAP and Congress reconciled their political differences to find a way to tide over the crisis resulting from the ongoing sealing drive.

Kejriwal, on Saturday, wrote to chiefs of local units -BJP's Manoj Tiwari and Congress's Maken - inviting them to hold a discussion on the matter.

"Jain has resigned from the post of advisor to the Delhi chief minister citing personal reasons and family commitment", sources said to media. It was during a meeting at the CM's residence.

He alleged that through the sealing drive, the BJP wanted to pave the way for foreign direct investments in retail in the national capital.

"According to the party, Tiwari, who is now on a state visit overseas, had a teleconference discussion with senior Delhi BJP office bearers and trader leaders on the sealing issue".

On the issue of 351 roads, which have been pending notification as commercial or mixed-land use for over 10 years, Mr. Sisodia said the government would go to the Supreme Court next week to seek permission for the notification.

Later, Kejriwal also tweeted, "Had a v good meeting wid reps of Congress. BJP boycotted".

"Stop the drama of allegations and counter-allegations over sealing in Delhi".

Sisodia also said that the BJP does not want to find a solution to the sealing drive.

Health Minister Satyendar Jain and Development Minister Gopal Rai were among others who attended the meeting on Tuesday afternoon. However, he said that the BJP would be invited to be a part of the all-party delegation. "Because it is not being done now, there is chaos", Maken said.

The then Centre and State Government under Congress Party working by on its past strategy to suppress the issue, brought out an under developed Master Plan-2021 which though stopped the sealing at that time but soon complicated the situation to the extent that in 2017 Supreme Court actively re-intervened. "The government must make a submission properly in the court with conviction", Maken said.
