Bajrangi Bhaijaan bags over Rs150 crore in China

Eros International Plc (NYSE:EROS) ("Eros" or "the Company"), a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry, today announced Producer Salman Khan Film's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has collected over $25 million within ten days of its release in China.

According to the Chinese box office, Bajrangi Bhaijaan surpassed the first day collections of Aamir's Dangal in China.

Bajrangi is the fifth Indian movie to enter 800 crore worldwide grosser which includes Baahubali, Dangal and Secret Superstar which earned around 900 crores only in China against it's 70 crores in India at the time of the release.

Despite being the first outing of Salman Khan in China, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has managed to attract the audience with its emotional content. "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" was helmed by Kabir Khan and starred Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan's plotline revolves around an Indian man - Pawan Chaturvedi aka Bajrangi - played by Salman Khan and his quest to find the parents of a young Pakistani girl - Munni - played by Harshali Malhotra, who was separated from her mother on their trip to India.
