NEW YORK, NY (February 28, 2018) - On the heels of MTV's ninth consecutive month of primetime growth (YoY Mon-Thu 8p-11p) - its best streak since 2000 - the network announced it has renewed "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" for a second season ahead of its global premiere on Thursday, April 5 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. This marks the first time MTV will premiere a series day and date across Viacom's global network of MTV channels in almost 180 countries.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation, from creator/executive producer SallyAnn Salsano, is part of the recent ramp-up of unscripted programming at MTV that has fueled the network's ratings comeback under president Chris McCarthy. Recently renewed for a second season, it is one of three new MTV reality series from the prolific producer, along with the upcoming Jersey Shore Family Vacation and Winter Break: Hunter Mountain.

The cast of Jersey Shore hasn't even left the East Coast yet, but they're already scheduled for another Family Vacation.

The reunion series takes the original cast Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino to the beaches of Miami for some insane shenanigans - well, as insane as it can get when their families are tagging along too!

Salsano is executive producing via her 495 Productions.
