Fortnite's Season 3 Battle Pass Details Revealed

With Season 2 concluding in just a couple of days, Epic Games has announced what's next for Fortnite Battle Royale.

That's right, the newest Battle Pass will take players to the farthest reaches of the universe with space-themed cosmetics.

Season 2 Battle Pass owners will receive a 5-tier head start in the new season, which means they will have to spend even less time playing the game.

Epic Games has revealed details on the much-anticipated season 3 of the Fortnite Battle Pass.

The season 3 Battle Pass will cost you 950 V-Bucks, which you can earn either in Battle Royale and Fortnite's single-player Save the World mode, or acquire through investing around $10/£8 of your own real world money. The Season 3 Battle Pass includes 100 tiers, 30 more than season two's.

Epic Games has revealed the introduction of "Skydiving Trails" in Fortnite: Battle Royale for players to drop from the Battle Bus in style.

Beside the new skins, there will be three new pickaxes, four emotes, and three gliders.

Challenges are being reworked and will instead be doled out weekly as opposed to daily.

Epic Games also provided a brief FAQ for anyone who isn't familiar with the Battle Pass that explains how to purchase it and how to get more loot quicker, all of this seen through the announcement post. When you buy, you'll instantly unlock a bunch of rewards, and as you play you'll unlock more through a series of different reward tiers.

Those after a bargain might be interested in the new Battle Bundle, which nets players the Battle Pass plus 25 tiers for 2800 V-Bucks-at 40 percent off. As Epic Games indicates, the challenges stack and can be completed anytime during this season, so buying it beforehand isn't such a concern.

Epic didn't say exactly when season three would kick off but with season two ending today (February 20), the wait likely won't be very long (perhaps as early as tomorrow). "You can choose to go into battle without back bling". Players will also unlock 21 emotes and 23 banners by finishing this Battle Pass.
