Good news for Kanye West!

Kanye West has settled his lawsuit against a British insurance company after alleging it failed to fulfil its loss claim on a cancelled tour.

"Almost immediately after the claim was submitted, Defendants selected legal counsel to oversee the adjustment of the claim, instead of the more normal approach of retaining a non-lawyer insurance adjuster", stated West's complaint. Kanye abandoned the tour and checked into a psychiatric care center following "strained, confused and erratic" behavior.

The rapper filed a $10 million lawsuit against Lloyd's of London last August after accusing them from paying out claims from the portion of his 2016 Saint Pablo tour which was cancelled following his breakdown in November 2016.

Kanye West has won a settlement in his lawsuit against an insurance company who didn't want to pay him because they thought he was a drug user.

Per West's filing, as well as a countersuit by Lloyd's of London, the insurers were concerned about drug use on the 40-year-old's part.

Paul Schrieffer, the attorney representing Lloyd's, said on Thursday that the dispute "was resolved amicably" but gave no details.

"Lloyd's counter-claim for declaratory relief is the same generic response Lloyd's files in all cases when they don't want to honor a legitimate claim but can't find a factual basis to deny a claim". Lloyd's of London was also accused of insinuating that West was using marijuana that time, but a spokesperson for the company said that they never said so.
