Schurrle's comments come after Aubameyang was left out of the squad for Friday's 1-1 draw with Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga as talk of the 28-year-old's future continues to dominate the headlines in the United Kingdom and in Germany.

Amid disciplinary issues and transfer speculation, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was dropped by Borussia Dortmund for Friday night's trip to Hertha Berlin.

Schurrle and his teammates will soon be out of their misery.

Wenger was coy when quizzed about Watzke's claims after Arsenal's 4-1 win over Crystal Palace today as he refused to comment after being criticised by the Dortmund chiefs last week for speaking about their player.

Having been suspended, then left out of the team selection by his club, it seems there's no reason why this move will take all eleven days remaining in this transfer window to finalize.

January has been hard for us, destabilizing.

Former Chelsea player Schurrle deputised at No.9 for Aubameyang, and admitted: "It hasn't been easy to concentrate on football because there's only been one topic off the pitch".

Aubameyang did himself no favours during the contest, however, as he engaged in a spot of five-a-side whilst wearing a Dortmund shirt with "Dembele" written on the back. We have talked to him many times.

Aubameyang's behaviour and poor discipline has worsened things this month, and team-mates Andre Schurrle said the squad had tried to talk to him about the situation, but have struggled to get through to him. Everything seems OK, but you never know what's going on in his head.

"He can decide for himself, with his attitude, whether he will be considered and I plan on using him, if he works hard".
