The author of a controversial book that is highly critical of Donald Trump's first year in the White House has claimed his revelations will eventually "bring down" the US President.

And Donald Trump is not happy about it.

Thursday, the White House announced staffers and visitors to the West Wing will no longer be allowed to use personal devices.

Fire and Fury and fun. Instead, it began sales early.

Since his upset election win over Hillary Clinton, Trump's quick temper and over-sensitivity has caused him to lash out on a daily basis in response to anyone who dares criticize him.

And, even in defending Trump, the former ExxonMobil chief executive admitted he has had to learn how to relay information to a president with a very different decision-making style.

On Friday afternoon, no copies were available at Barnes & Noble locations at the Concord and Christiana malls.

Wolff spent 18 months reporting on both the Trump campaign and the Trump White House. You hear more intelligent, mature dialogue from children in the playground.

In a series of tweets, Trump said "the Fake News Mainstream Media" are taking out "the old Ronald Reagan playbook" and questioning his fitness for office.

He said it would be difficult for the president and his allies to challenge Wolff's claims as dishonest, because too many people in Washington knew the truth. She said Wolff never interviewed the president, saying that he "repeatedly begged to see the president". He said whether he "realized it was an interview or not, I don't know, but it was certainly not off the record". Part of their reasoning is that a trial could distract Trump from his official business as president.

He told NBC: "They all say he is like a child". Wolff has confirmed he has audio recordings of some of those talks. And as the 45th President celebrates his first year in office, we take at his funniest pics from the past 365 days.

Some parts of "Fire and Fury" were released earlier this week.

He calls Ivanka Trump "dumb as a brick" and describes the meeting between Donald Trump Jr and a Russian lawyer as "treasonous" and "unpatriotic".

The book extensively quotes former Trump adviser Steve Bannon.

Excerpts from Michael Wolff's book, repeated often in the liberal media, say sources close to the president claim he is forgetful and doesn't have the intellectual capacity to grasp the complex policy and politics of being president. Harder also told Reuters that "legal action is imminent" against Bannon. And what they mean by that he has a need for immediate gratification.
