Hey, it's one way to promote a new album.

Renowned DJ Moby is spinning a freakish tale about President Trump.

The famed musician and producer took to Instagram to "accurately" report the connection after talking to "friends in DC", remarking that "the Trump administration needs a war" among other fiery accusations.

In February 2017, shortly after the Trump inauguration, Moby posted on social media that the Russian government was "blackmailing" the new chief executive.

He continued by suggesting that things are going to get worse before they get any better.

"[After] years of touring and spending time in DC and NY, I've managed to make a few friends in the intelligence community", he began, before noting that said friends - "active and former CIA agents" - were "truly concerned" about Trump.

Now, Moby has added further information regarding his connections to the Central Intelligence Agency, which he teased back after the inauguration last February by stating that his "friends in DC" confirmed that the Russian "dossier" was "100% real", and was being used by the Russian government to "blackmail" the President.

The DJ explained to WFPK radio how Central Intelligence Agency sources told him, "look, you have more of a social media following than any of us do, can you please post some of these things just in a way that ... sort of puts it out there". "Like the depths of the Trump family in business and their involvement with organized crime, sponsored terrorism, Russian oligarchs, it's really dark". "I guess we should all, like, fasten our seat belts and hold on".
