Publisher Henry & Holt Company had planned a Jan. 9 release.

The White House is pushing back questioning the author's credibility.

Trump tweeted Friday: "The Mercer Family recently dumped the leaker known as Sloppy Steve Bannon". After the president lashed out over the book [VIDEO] on more than one occasion, a host on Fox News criticized Trump bringing the publication so much attention.

"This is bigger than I ever dreamed of", he told Ailes a week before the election. The publisher moved up the release by four days. "This could be the most important book since 'All the President's Men' quite honestly, in American politics history", said Len Gorelick, as he put down his money to reserve a book from the next shipment.

Wolff said the book, which portrays Trump as a "child" and the White House as chaotic, is drawn from his regular access to the West Wing and more than 200 interviews, including some three hours with Trump himself.

Another said: "Really f**king presidential Don".

Sanders also called Wolf "a guy who made up a lot of stories to try and sell books". He also says he never spoke with the book's author.

After President Donald Trump threatened legal action to prevent the publication of Wolff's book, officially released on Friday, Wolff defended his journalistic integrity during an interview on NBC's "Today" show on Friday morning. "I did the quartet role", Blair said. Wolff has confirmed he has audio recordings of some of those talks.

Meanwhile, Twitter responded to Trump's latest "childish" tweets on the subject with a slew of taunting jokes, comments and memes with many saying "thanks for promoting" the book.

President Donald Trump says its full of lies and misrepresentations.

Speaking with BBC radio, Michael Wolff said that his work has had "a very clear emperor-has-no-clothes effect".

"What's the president's reaction to the growing number of suggestions, both in this book and in the media, that he's mentally unfit to serve as president?" The book was set to be released Tuesday.

In Washington, D.C., people waited outside bookstores in extremely cold weather to buy the book. "We've had requests for it already".

His contributions to Michael Wolff's book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House have been interpreted by the base as an act of betrayal and his many enemies are seeing this moment as the chance to dispense with Bannon altogether.
