Arsenal player ratings: Cech and co absolutely shocking against Bournemouth

Arsenal have never lost to Bournemouth in their six meetings but know they'll have a challenge on their hands here, just like they experienced on the South Coast previous year where they fought from 3-0 down to draw 3-3; the only time they've battled back from that deficit in a Premier League match.

Callum Wilson converted a flawless Ryan Fraser cross in the 70th minute, before the striker turned provider, controlling a long ball and teeing up Ibe to fire past Petr Cech.

After a quiet start, the second half burst into life when Arsenal took the lead after 52 minutes, Hector Bellerin on target after Iwobi had put him through one-on-one with Begovic, who got a hand to the strike but could not stop it.

Danny Welbeck, Shkodran Mustafi and Maitland Niles all came close to breaking the deadlock in the first half but Bournemouth remained compact at the back.

The 25-year-old was key to Bournemouth's comeback, though, scoring the first after a magnificent cross from Fraser and then providing the assist for Ibe's victor.

Hello and welcome to our continuous coverage of the English Premier League match-day 23, as Bournemouth host Arsenal.

Despite dictating much of the early possession Arsenal clearly missed their more illustrious attacking talents with Alexandre Lacazette cutting a lonely figure without the cutting edge of Sanchez and the injured Mesut Ozil.

In search of a late equaliser, Arsenal brought on Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey but they were unable to rescue another desperately disappointing afternoon. A ball over the top found substitute Lys Mousset who was then able to tee up Ibe as he fired under Cech and made it 2-1.

For Arsenal, their season is falling away without a trace.

Furthermore, Bournemouth have conceded in each of their last nine Premier League matches - the second-worst ongoing run in the division - and have only ever won one of their 13 Premier League games played on a Sunday.
