Lastly, in September 2017, Samsung mobile president Koh Dong-jin confirmed that the company was working on a flexible Galaxy Note and might have it ready for 2018. The Bell's report also pointed out that unlike the Galaxy S8 launch that happened in March last year, the smartphone maker is looking at an earlier schedule this time due to the swift growth of the iPhone X.

The information comes from representatives of "multiple industries that are familiar with this matter", which is wonderfully vague. Before that, the Galaxy S phones had made several appearances at the event.

The Samsung A8+ is released in India on 10 January and it goes on sale from 20 January onwards.

Since the screen has 18:9 aspect ratio, the bezels have been kept relatively thin with the body measuring 159.9 x 75.7 x 8.3 mm. The larger variant might have 6GB RAM instead of 4GB RAM on the standard model. Some recent renders claim that the flagship would have a fingerprint sensor below its primary camera, similar to the some of the lately launched models including Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+. So we can only hope the Galaxy X offers great hardware and software experiences whenever it finally launches, and regardless of whether or not Google adapts Android for foldable screens. Some early rumours pointed to the unveiling of the new Galaxy series flagship at CES to a small audience, but South Korean outlet The Bell last month stated that the company is planning to host a launch event for the Galaxy S9 on February 26 - the starting date of the MWC. The front dual cameras help to take portrait photos and it also lets you adjust the focus after taking the picture using Live Focus feature. Unsurprisingly, Samsung Display is named at the panel manufacturer.

It was earlier rumoured that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be unveiled at CES 2018, prior to the event.

The device is water and dust resistance certified by IP68 ratings. These are the same display sizes as the Galaxy S8 and S8+.

The Galaxy S9 has not been unveiled by the company but there have been several leaks and rumors about the upcoming device. It's not like we were expecting LG Display to be offering up its wares for this. It will be powered by Qualcomm's latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 chipset and is likely to be the first smartphone to offer 512GB of internal storage.
