Golden Globes 2018 snubbed women filmmakers from the Best Director category and the decision did not go down well with presenter Natalie Portman, who slammed the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for making it an "all-men" space.

"There's also a watershed happening right now, slowly, maybe not fast enough, for women directors", he told Entertainment Tonight at Tuesday's National Board of Review Awards. We have some wonderful women that have come forward, you know Mudbound and Lady Bird. "I'm predicting at the Oscars this year for a woman director, if not several". After Howard introduced the category they would be presenting, Portman remarked: "And here are the all-male nominees".
