Chris Hughton admits Brighton are lacking in firepower after watching them fire another blank on the road at Chelsea.

Chelsea have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons under Jose Mourinho and then Antonio Conte.

Hughton has held talks about signing Moussa Dembele from Celtic, according to Sky sources, in order to strengthen his options in attack and when asked if a lack of goals has become a problem, he said: "Yes it has". Trying to get those balances right - getting the right personnel in the team. Second half goals by Alvaro Morata and Marcos Alonso gave the champions the win with Brighton goalkeeper Ryan stopped Moses from scoring at the near post after Cesc Fabregas had picked him out in the box with a lofted pass. Moses who was very instrumental to the victory was in action for the entire duration of the game on his 100th appearance for the club in all competitions.

'We could not make any goals in the first half and we needed to keep working and we needed a good second half, and we did one'.

It was a familiar sight that broke the deadlock as the Spain striker combined with worldwide team-mate Cesar Azpilicueta, nodding home the full-back's pinpoint cross a mere 40 seconds after the interval.

"We never want to concede that early in a second half but I thought we gathered ourselves after that". It is hard to win every game and we are happy how we played.
