Starbucks is now serving the Christmas Tree Frappuccino. ― AFP picNEW YORK, Dec 8 ― Another season, another sugary specialty Starbucks drink.

While caffeine is essential for many during this time of year, the drink ironically contains no coffee.

The drink is only available now through Monday at participating locations. The "tree" is then covered in caramel drizzle "garland" and candied cranberry "ornaments". Still, it's worth pointing out that the nutritional information for the Christmas Tree Frappuccino is eye-opening.

Finally, the frozen drink is finished off with a strawberry that makes for a fruity tree topper.

If you dare to sample this festive concoction, you can do so now at your local Starbucks. You only have until December 11 to try it out!

Instagram and Twitter have already been flooded with images and reviews of the limited drink since it hit stores this morning. Said another: 'We tried the new Christmas Tree Frappuccino at work earlier and it looks atrocious but it doesn't taste half bad'.

It may not have the caffeine fix you're looking for but it'll definitely give you an extra rush of sugar during the holidays. You can also ask for skim milk and no whipped cream to cut back on the calories but, again, it's not a biggie if you go all-in. The base is a Peppermint Mocha Creme Frappuccino, one of the better Frappuccinos on the menu, and it artfully balances sweet, minty, and mocha flavors. Let us know what you think about the drink!
