Thirteen years after a Boisar woman allegedly killed her husband and buried the body in the septic tank at home, police stumbled upon his skeleton while conducting a raid at her place that doubled as a brothel.

Sarita told police that Sahdev suspected her character and often assaulted her after coming home drunk.

42-year-old Savita Bharati allegedly killed her husband and dumped his body in the septic tank of her house.

The Police said they murdered him after he caught the duo in a compromising position.

Sarita and her accomplice, Ashish Kamlesh (43), were booked under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.

Assitant Inspector Patil said, "Sarita ran a brothel in Dandipada, Boisar (East)". She was produced before a local court and has been sent to two-day police custody.

The police on Thursday dug up Sarita's home compound and found her husband's skeletal remains. Police has said that they still to find the body was the deceased. "We are on the hunt for Kamlesh, who is absconding".

The Boisar MIDC police said Sarita recently murdered one of her customers, a Bengali man, as she wanted to steal the Rs1 lakh he was carrying.

Police said Sarita practices black magic and murdered a third person as a human sacrifice.

The Police said Sarita after murdering her husband told her neighbours that he deserted her and hence she would not file any missing complaint of her husband.

The recovered skeleton has been sent for forensic examination said the sources. She is claiming that she was in a relationship with the other accused when she committed the murder, and that she married him later. She then buried the body and covered it with the tiles.
