Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has been described as "the complete player" by his manager Claude Puel.

The 20-year-old Nigerian global has been churning out consistent displays playing alongside Vincent Iborra in the heart of Leicester City's midfield and Puel believes Ndidi has a bright future ahead of him if he keeps improving. "He has great potential for the future".

"He's enjoying his football, it's awesome to see. I was surprised to know his qualities".

Earlier this season, Puel was named as the replacement for Craig Shakespeare and since arriving at the King Power Stadium, the Foxes have recorded 10 points from six matches in the top flight. "The most important thing is to continue the hard work and to keep building momentum and confidence". We need to try and improve all the time.

"We must keep a good focus and try to make a strong game".

Puel has no new problems ahead of the trip to Newcastle and he remains without defender Robert Huth (ankle) and midfielder Matty James (Achilles).

"Time will tell. The window is not open, we will see".
