In the lawsuit, Wendy Haskell, who was hired by Moon's Sports 1 Marketing firm in July, alleges that he demanded her to a "variety of unnerving sexual and perverse arrangements, including sleeping in the same bed with him on all business trips and providing him unfettered access to the bathroom every time she showered". After 17 years in the NFL, Moon was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Among the allegations. Haskell claims Moon would pressure her to wear revealing clothing, make inappropriate sexual remarks and advances, and force her to sleep in the same bed with him on business trips.

In her role as Moon's personal assistant, Haskell says she traveled with Moon on a weekly basis for speaking engagements and charity events.

The report said a spokesperson for Moon's company, Sports 1 Marketing of Irvine, Calif., did not return phone calls or an email seeking comment.

After beginning his career in the CFL and then playing 12 years for the Oilers and Vikings, he spent the 1997 and 1998 seasons with the Seahawks before finishing up his playing career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2000.

Having retired from the National Football League in 2000, Moon has been a member of the Seahawks' broadcast team since 2004. He also played six professional seasons with the Canadian Football League's Edmonton Eskimos after going undrafted out of the University of Washington.

Former Houston Oilers quarterback Warren Moon is accused of sexually harassment and assault by his executive assistant in a lawsuit.

"Whenever Ms. Haskell expressed reservations about these outrageous "job duties", Moon insisted this was "just the way it is", and threatened Ms. Haskell that unless she was "comfortable" with him, he'd "find someone else who was".

Moon has had legal trouble following incidents involving women in the past.

Moon was accused of striking his then wife, Felicia Moon, on the head with an open hand and choking her to the point that she nearly lost consciousness before she escaped from the couple's home in July 1995.

This is not the first time that Moon has been accused of misconduct towards women.

The Seahawks have accepted announcer Warren Moon's request to take a leave from his position. The couple divorced in 2001.
