The cover has revealed Taylor in a goth classy act.

While the music of Taylor Swift's "Notoriety" period hasn't baffled, her stylish has been something of a blended pack. Fittingly, it's for British Vogue's January issue. It never came to pass before the album, but on Monday (December 4), Swift shared her first magazine cover of the Reputation era, which is also due to be her first cover of 2018. This story, "The Reinvention of Taylor Swift", was essential for understand the then-new direction Swift had fully dived into on her first completely pop album.

Taylor Swift may not be the baddest bitch in history, but she looks like a bad bitch on this new cover!

The inside shoot spans across 12-pages and was styled by Edward Enninful, the new editor-in-chief of the mag. "Enninful's first cover of the self-styled "#NewVogue" addressed criticisms about the magazine's lack of diversity which had circled the publication under its previous leadership.

The editorial will echo a similar sentiment to much of Swift's Reputation art, since photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot both sets of visuals.

'Taylor is acutely aware of her following and how she communicates with young women, and will never portray a character that would send the wrong message'. Taylor is now preparing for her worldwide tour in 2018.

'That said, even superstars aren't immune to the power of a great dress, ' he added. "I was very touched to see how emotional she was at the end of our shoot day in London", he continued.
